I love these ideas! I'm skeptical that a retail store would cooperate, but you've got some very cool thoughts to build upon!

I have a few ideas about getting these into circulation:

1. What about giving the GPS salesperson at a Bass Pro shop/a nature store/a camping store or a ranger at a state park - whatever place would apply, and have them give a coin to the next person that mentions geocaching. Might have to give the salesperson or ranger a coin for passing one along too, just for their trouble.

2. Hide geocoins in select JoG books - at book stores, libraries - where ever a copy is available.

3. Have a contest where geocaching groups come up with geocaching haikus, awarding the winners with geocoins. Really, any contest would do - I just thought mine sounded interesting and would keep you all laughing.

Hope these help!
