Geocaching turned around TheAlabamaRambler’s life. A series of accidents had left Ed Manley immobile and addicted to pain killers. He felt he was a burden to his family,so one day he decided to kill himself. Ed loaded up his boat with the intention of driving to the middle of a lake and jumping overboard. That morning,a GPS had arrived in the mail. He decided to see what he could do about it. He discovered geocaching,and it turned his life around.
